Please help me on Intel Fortran 90 Install.

I register by email. And follow the link in email to download the *.gz package.
Please tell me what I did wrong:

tar -xlvf *.gz to decompose.
cd l_fc_c_9.1.036
sudo ./install.sh

After I input the Serial number given in the email, and then input my registered email,
The program tell me this serial number is registered to another account.

I then use another email to register to do the same thing, use the new provided serial number. But I got the same anser: this serial number is registered to another account.

Something I did wrong here? thanks.

You might have to email Intel about it, seems like something on their end.

I haven't upgraded to 9.0 yet, since my .deb files for 8.x work just fine.

There is a thread by Chickenmonger about the install, did you follow that?

I did follow one HOWTO.

At the very first try, I made some wrong inputs and installation aborted. Then I follow one instruction on this formu, then what I descibed happened. I am not sure whether I should remove the first unsuccessful installation and then go ahead.

the number never worked for me....what i did was to save the lic file and gave the path to the installer....somehow there is a problem with when using the key...i installed it several times (OS reinstalls) and everytime i used the lic file...not the key....they should have sent you the lic file by email....

When I click on the link on the Intel site, it gives me this Alert:


550 /software/products/compilers/downloads/l_fc_c_9.1.036.tar.gz: The system cannot find the path specified

is the problem with me or Intel?
