View Full Version : How to preview raw files in nautilus.

hey, i was searching through the internet and was wondering why i couldn't view my thumbnails of my camera's raw files. and found this howto on the internet. Haven't tried it yet. but i thought people would find it useful. I wonder if there's a way to get this integrated into ubuntu?

edit, also there is a package called, gnome-raw-thumbnailer, that doesn't seem to work.

are you sure its not because of you having "local files only" in nautilus preferences, as shown in the screenshot.

ha! thanks. First I clicked the link, then decided it might be a good idea to read more in this thread. Glad I did ;) changing that to always worked like a charm.
