Hi,

I have one question.

I'm using ubuntu in a PPC... everything seems ok by now! Very good! ;)
How can I put Gimp separating images in CMYK?

I've already downloaded the separate plug-in (I don't know if exist a better one), and I can't install the separate plug-in. I've followed the instructions (I didn't install the adobe icc... only one that came with the program), and the separate plug-in doesn't appear anywhere.

As far as I know, after the copy of the plug in to the directory, it should appear in gimp... but it doesn't!

But, it appears in the gimp start screen... when it is uploading the plug-ins... but then, i don't find it in the images menu... or anywhere...

Maybe I've installed wrongly... can anybody help me?

Thanks!

gimp doesn't have cmyk support.

Yes, it does, but only by means of a plug-in that needs to be installed separately.

And ironically, the plugin is called Separate.

I know this is a little late, but it may help someone in the future.
You have to make the plugin executable so that Gimp can use it.
Took me a while to figure that out.
(Works nicely by the way.)
