UT GOTY Install, where to begin?

Ok so i searched the forums and only really found threads with people posting problems they've encountered, all i am wondering is what i actually have to do in order to install UT GOTY Edition? i mean i have the cd, do i need to download an installer? or just run the cd? or download the cd online somewhere? thanks for any help :).

Also if this has been answered could you direct me to that particular thread as i must have missed it.

it's easy, guy...
Find and download a file called ut-install-436-GOTY.run (google it, or look at some ut download sites)
open a terminal, and type :
chmod a+x ut-install-436-GOTY.run
sudo ./ut-install-436-GOTY.run

Here come the graphical installer. It will ask for your CD.
You'll be fragging a in minute !
