I'm a newbie in Linux ambient but, I was wondering if there's any way of make our own customized Ubuntu distro, what I mean is, I have installed my Ubuntu like 5 or 6 times (well.....as I said I'm kinda of newbie and sometimes I make mistakes that require to remount everything again!).

I always have done a kernel upgrade, openoffice upgrade and some other things (I always have to install my wireless NIC which is very complicated and annoying!!!) is there anyway to compile my Ubuntu distro after installed and upgraded to save it so next time I just install and finish? I mean, I would like to have my Ubuntu distro already upgraded and with the correct driivers I need, so, can I have it in a very simple (Ubuntu's) way?

This (http://www.ubuntulinux.org/wiki/LiveCDCustomizationHowTo) might be as close as you can get...

Any plans to make a net install disc? That would pretty much guarantee that everything would be up-to-date as of the date on install.

OTOH, since universe and multiverse aren't enabled for install, any installed packages from there *would* be the latest anyway. :)
