I'm very intrigued by the idea of Ubuntu CE, but I have a question. If I understand correctly, Ubuntu CE is exactly like regular Ubuntu except for the fact that it has additional software installed. Let's say I preferred to get everything from apt-get/Synaptic Package Manager and just wanted a list of packages. What would the list be? I have all the kinks worked out with Ubuntu and my laptop model, and undoing all of that with a fresh install of Ubuntu CE does not look appealing.

There is a script to automatically convert regular Ubuntu to CE availible here (http://www.whatwouldjesusdownload.com/christianubuntu/2006/07/download.html).

If you want to install it all yourself, the pakcages are Dansguardian (with a GUI that you can get from one of these threads), gVerse, GnomeSword Bible Study, and Automatix2, plus some custom artwork.

There is also an installer script in the administrative tools that will install some educational games for kids, and some other useful things for parents.

Thanks. I'll check out some of those programs as well as the script.
