Were all these sticky threads really necessary? The Debian gnu/linux even took multiple threads and merged them.

Someone comes to this subforum to discuss Debian. Should they then only post in the Debian thread in the Debian subforum? Instead of just making stickies of multiple conversations, maybe have ONE post with links to the Debian based distros?

Makes it easier for people new to debian or its alternatives to find this way. IMHO.
