Some people have wished for more easily installable artwork along the lines of ubuntu-calendar. I have a plan (https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-art/2007-January/003651.html) but it won't work unless there is strong community support. Fortunately, there is nothing standing in our way other than needing community involvement.

The place where the art-team has traditionally discussed this subject is on the art-team mailing list, so I'm asking people who have an interest in this subject and the desire/ability to help to sign onto that list and give their comments.

I am on the mailing list, but I found it hard to follow, beacouse of lots of replays and so.Is there any chance to see forum where art work can be discused.I would like to see some web site too where we can upload some of ideas or proposals, also for discussion,i am not confotable with wiki, etc. Those are reasons that i am not participating much for art work.

I doubt that people will want to make the change, but as a concession, what e-mail program do you use? Does it support threading? Thunderbird, Evolution and Mutt all support threading... so does gmail. Makes dealing with mailing lists much easier.

There's always art.ubuntu.com for sharing images.
