Spam filter/pop3 forwarding server

Hi

Could you point me to any good tutorials on how to make a spam filter server, preferably using ubuntu.

Situation is this there's going to be approx 3 client machines running WinXP.
The mail accounts are on ISP (pop3). Smtp should go through ISP:s servers.

I would like to run a linux server, which would fetch the emails from ISP:s pop3 accounts, run some sort of smapfilter/virus scan and store them on the server. The client machines (running winXP, thunderbird) would connect to local linux server and get the emails.

Any suggestions?
