I'm trying to run this old 1998 game using wine, and am nearly having success, but am lacking one important feature. The program starts fine, but I can't use my mouse! There is no response to movement, however, the program does take input from the forward and back buttons on my logitech mx510 mouse (what kind of input, I don't know, it just skips the cinematic intro when I press them).
I did follow these two logitech mice tutorials prior to my tribes installation:

http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=316441&highlight=xbindkeys
However, I'm not so sure whether these two configurations are the issue, because mouse input works fine in other games like Enemy Territory, and Counter-strike 1.6. I did run tribes successfully using Cedega, but it was my friend's copy so I can't exactly use it. Any suggestions?
