View Full Version : Installing Intel IPP on Ubuntu 6.10?

December 26th, 2006, 09:59 AM

just a quick question: Was anybody able to install the Intel IPP libraries on Ubuntu 6.10? If yes, could you please share which changes you made to the installation scripts and how it was installed?

I was able to install the Intel C++ compiler for linux v. 9.1.045 by making changes similar to the ones documented in this thread for the Fortran compiler:

intel fortran on edgy (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=285757&page=3)

But the workaround which is given there for the MKL libraries seems not to work for the IPP libs, unfortunately.

Thanks in advance for any help.
