kooldock error on gnome

i just installed kooldock and added some apps to the launcher. however whenever i click on an icon an error pops up saying that the command ***.desktop cannot be found. when i opened nautilus and searched the directories i found the command exactly where it was supposed to be. i attached a screenshot at the bottom. can anyone help? i heard that kooldock works fine in gnome so it must be something that i'm not doing right.

maybe this would be better in one of the help parts of the forum rather then the cafe.
