This is a weird problem that I have never been able to figure out.
First I started with the ubuntu amd64 distro and installed kde via apt-get. Installed the ati drivers, it worked great. The weird problem was that when I ran tuxracer from the command line as a user, tux would veer to the left the entire time. However, if I would run it as root, I did not have this problem. Now I have recently switched to the x86 distro, and I have the EXACT same problem. I searched the forums and I did not find anyone else with this issue (if I missed them I apologize). Would I be correct that this is most likely an issue with the interaction with my hardware? Funny thing is, I used to run Fedora Core 3 and I did not have this issue. Any ideas as to why tux likes to go left unless he is root?
