OK... I just tried this and can't seem to get it on my own. Looking for a little help.
I have WoW working in Wine just fine using openGL.
I have a friend who got tired of Halo and has gottn WoW. He runs on a windows machine and wanted to be able to talk while we played.
I installed Skype. He installed Skype. Skype works fine.... by itself.
If I have WoW running... Skype has a "Problem with sound device".
I've tried changinf Skype to use OSS instead of also and then start Skype using aoss skype and that didn't help.
I am pretty sure it's a sharing issue. The sound system isn't playing nice with 2 apps at the same time. I just don't know how to track this down. Hints and clues are much appreciated.
OR.... is there an easier way. Something that just works.
I run 6.10 Edgy.
