Hi!
I'm running dapper. I've tried Edgy but i think dapper has something working better.
I know that a stable release doesn't want fresh software..but i'd like to have some "minor" things up to date.
Firefox 2.0 (I've used the script)
OpenOffice
AmaroK
Kopete
K3B

Can i use Debian repos and update them without any problem!?
There's any particular repository that i can choose!?

I guess that in that case i have to update only "minor" software, avoiding updating system files that are debian exclusive...

Debian Etch (latest debian) is pretty much Dapper, so I don't think they got FF 2 or latest OO.org yet.

Thanks :)

I was wondering why i've asked for debian.. maybe i can use Edgy's repos no? :)

The one "Dangerous" thing that i'd like to try is Gnome 2.16.
The others are utils that should create disasters, like i said:
Firefox
OpenOffice
AmaroK
... and so on.

I've used Ubuntu_deamon repos list and i've update amarok and kopete. I've used the scrip for firefox and now i'd like to try OO with extensions.
In windows i don't use OO very much. For little works that i have to do for university i use DIA and OO.. but i use them under Slackware or Ubuntu.
