sudo apt-get update

I always get few lines like

Failed to fetch http://packages.freecontrib.org/plf/dists/edgy-plf/free/binary-i386/Packages.gz 404 Not Found

Anything that I missed happened to the repository http://packages.freecontrib.org/plf/...
???

As far as I understand it it's the successor to the freecontrib plf repository.
