I just have seen on apple site the preview of Leopard...

I like it very much, it seems functional and really easy...

What do you think about it?

I think OS X stopped being impressive around version 10.3, they came in made everyone go "OMG that's cool" and have since added incremental features that they charge roughly $100 for.

Allow us to compare:
OS X new features and upgrade to newest version: $100
(x|k|ed)Ubuntu new features and upgrade to newest version: $0

OS X is the lesser of two evils, don't get me wrong and the fact that they are a pseudo UNIX makes me smile but when it comes down to it, Xubuntu performs almost twice as fast on my iBookG4 along with giving me roughly 30-45 minutes longer battery life and I get all the user interface and applications I know and love that I use daily on my AMD64 desktop machines.

Will I offer Apple my business when it comes to buying laptops? Always, they make the best laptops on the planet and now with bootcamp, I will let OS X hang around on the hard drive for software testing but other than that I think its a niche market that will just always kinda be there, just like it always has.

Actually, their MacBook and Mac Mini are cheaper than their PC vendor counter parts and I am lucky enough to be a college student and able to exploit their student discount program.
