GTA San Andreas Flickering Screen

I have tried running GTA San Andreas on Cedega and actually works but the screen flickers a lot and its a bit annoying GTA Vice City works fine does anyone know how to correct this?

My specs
640 Mb Ram
Pentium 4 1,5 GHZ
Ati Radeon 9250 128 Mb
Cmedia sound card
Kubuntu Dapper

Try turning off the visual effects...
