GG Client on linux anyone?

For all of you that dont know what GG-Client is, it is a software that lets you connect to a server where theres people from all over the world almost without lag or delay (90% of the time with any lag or delay). You can play Warcraft 3 or Counter Strike.

So, my problem is that every tiem I want to play Warcraft 3 over GG-Client I hve to reboot and log in to windows and is the only reazon that I still have that OS.

So I tried to run it using wine and Instalation was ok but when I tried to run it the login screen is blank :confused:

Did anyone installed it or tryed it? Any help would be apreciated, and I mean any

I'm not trying to be a jerk but have you checked at the winehq site? They'd probably know what, if anything from GG works.

Yes, I checked but GG client is not listed.

Haxer, I did search the internet before posting and couldnt find anything, thx anyway, Im still trying to run it, if i have any sucess I will post it.

Hi I'm using Ubuntu Hardy Heron with Wine 1.1.2 (latest in the repos)
I'm able to login to GGClient 2.4 latest update, I renamed the gg.smf file and changed the update.xml to version 2.906 from 2.420 as suggested in the forum, Done all settings for CS 1.6. (It works well independently under wine )
The Problem is I am not able to see any games in the left panel . A workaround I found was hit and trial click in the left panel until i got to the CS 1.6 Rooms I wanted. I'm able to see the rooms, but when i click to join a room, I the left and the center panels hang, although I can see the participants in the room, and also able to right click them....

I can't see the chats nor the start game button.... The application is stil working , and I can switch between the MAIN, LOBBY and ROOM tabs... The center and left panels(where the chat window should display) freeze when i click the ROOMS tab. I can't PM friends too...
Every other feature Except the Start Game Button is working. Shift+Tab doesn't help.
WE're quite close to solving this problem, jus a little bit more effort required......
Any help will be appreciated... :-)
