I am having some trouble running Age of Empires through Cedega. I have intsalled the game and gone through that whole process. When running the game, I get to the main menu, where I can choose single player, multiplayer, help, exit, and whatever else. When I go to select single player, a box comes up in Age of Empires stating "You must insert a game cd in order to player the single player game. Inster the cd and restart Age of Empires." When running the game, the cd is present in my disc drive the whole time. So I'm stumped. Perhaps I need to mount the cd some special way prior to playing or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried using a no-cd crack? *link not allowed*

Great! This worked great. I used the 'fixed exe' thingy in the age of empires section. Thanks a bunch!

Can you guys help me, I'm having the exact same problem, except the cracks aren't working as well. Do I need to change the CD code or something?
