BZFlag 2.00 (/2.02)

Hi! I like BZFlag a lot and I would like to play it with Ubuntu too. I just can't install it. I have had problems coz there's only BZFlag 1 on Ubuntu's mirrors. Well, I have downloaded .rpm packages of 2.00 and converted them with alien into .deb packages. But they just don't wanna get installed. So has someone succesfully installed BZFlag 2.00 and how.

I'd be happy for any tips!

i would suggest building it from source then(i know a hassle). so download the source package on the bzflag page and read the docs in the file to install it. post all problems you have here.

you can even package it as a .deb with a program called "checkinstall", you can install that via apt-get.
