FEAR the game

hello everyone , I am havving trouble installing fear multyplayer. I am an absolute nub so i have no idea on what to do . I downloaded the 1.8 server for linux and am not sure what to do. Also i have it for the pc and it was 2 gigs but the one i downloaded for linux was 150 mb did i download the wrong thing??? if anyone can just point me twords a direction where fear for linux is that would be great.

The server isn't the game. The server is what players play on. To play the game, as far as I know, you'll need to try running FEAR with Cedega although since I've never tried it on Cedega I can't tell you if it'll run.

I went to install cedega cvs and entered the first cdode on the site and this is the activity that went on in the terminal

As far as I know neither the full game or multiplayer one work under Cedega, WINE or Crossover i.e. you won't be able to play it under Linux.
