Ubuntu Remaster - Error with Fluxbox / Window Manager

Has anyone created a good working LiveCD using

I have tried to install fluxbox, and remove gnome, but I get errors.

Afraid not. I've successfully used http://uck.sourceforge.net/ to customize a LiveCD for my Intel Mac (removed bluez-utils basically so I could boot the LiveCD and use my bluetooth keyboard).

Did you try that tutorial by any chance?

I did. I think I got as far as rebuilding the iso, something wouldn't work so I looked for an alternative and found uck. I tried Uck and it worked first time.
