I was hoping to build some notes on LDAP because I just got an LDAP server going and I still feel shaky with it.
I followed the following guide to get my LDAP server up and running ... https://help.ubuntu.com/community/OpenLDAPServer
What kinda creeps me out is that it says to say "no" for database logins, is this normal? so clients can freely query my ldap database by simply binding to it?
Also, Manager is the LDAP admin correct? Kinda confused on that topic as well :S
