View Full Version : Frozen Bubble 2 fullscreen?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't seem to find the option to make Frozen Bubble 2 fullscreen anywhere. There used to be an "Options" menu in the original Frozen Bubble, and you could make the game fullscreen there. There is no such menu or option in 2 that I can find, and I really miss this capability. If anything, you would think the addition of multiplayer support would be even more incentive to play in fullscreen - it sucks playing multiplayer in such a small window. Am I just not finding the option, or is it really missing? The official site / documentation make no mention of this feature and googling didn't return any results.

You can launch it from the terminal with
frozen-bubble --fullscreen
take a look at man frozen-bubble for more parameters.

Thanks, that certainly helps. I didn't even know there were man pages for Frozen Bubble. But that still doesn't explain why the option was omitted from the in-game preferences in the first place.
Edit: MonekyBoy, that's a little easier to do when you're in the game. Once again though, it's a hidden option!

Hi all,
I agree that it is a retard to "hide" the fullscreen option...
Also, Frozen Bubble 1 did not have fullscreen problems, but FB2 seems to.
When I do a fullscreen, the resolution is wrong, and the penguin controlling the shooter is out of view.
