I'm not bleeding-edge, and I'm staying as far away from the Breezy servers as possible. I did however want to see what all the fuss was about, so I did a dist-upgrade to Hoary.
Main trouble: as described in another place (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=30248) , it broke my 'net access and my usual routine has not been able to bring it back up.
Secondary gripe: Gnome menus are now not as easily fiddled-with as before. O, for the gnome 2.8 "add launcher to this menu" thingie!
One last thing: I can't remember where I'm supposed to replace "exec fluxbox" with "exec startfluxbox" so that, when I start fluxbox from gdm, it uses the nice startup config file I already have written.
this has not been a good day for me on the 'puter front.
