I've never run WoW under straight WINE, only Cedega. In my experience, I had better frame rates and less latency under linux...and the last Nvidia driver set made it purty. The one issue that I had was with sound, and there is a quick hack on WineHQ to fix that.

Dang... I should have included Cedega. Can't figure out how to add the option. Anyone know?

On my laptop with an onboard intel915 gma graphics card, I've been unable to run WoW under linux. I've tried every release of Wine since 0.9.20 as well as the CrossOver beta. Graphics were always an issue. Running WoW under windows was never an issue.

it's more or less the same on the overall preformance, some things work better on Linux, some on Windows, on Windows the FPS is more steady but that's prolly cause the ATi drivers to linux ain't as good as the ones for Windows but they are getting there and in the next WoW patch some ATi fixes are implemented boosting it a bit.
