I dunno if im on the right place to post this problem but...here it comes.
I have Ubuntu 5.04 installed in my P4 2.2 Ghz Intel D845GLAD motherboard computer.
I have a HP PSC 1210 printer connected via USB to my computer and searching for a better driver/software I found one on the HP website. I downloaded and installed the HPLIP 0.9.2 and everything is correct until the point of adding the
printer ( I followed this instructions very carefully http://hpinkjet.sourceforge.net/install.php) but the
problem comes when I tried to open the address http://localhost:631 in my web browser having an error saying that the connection was refused when attempting
to contact localgost:631...any possible solution or help for this problem in order to finish my installation correctly??
I'm up to the point that I haven't installed this completely but a Printer Logo/Option appears on the system tools menu that I can't access...any recommendation on this?
Thanks
