I haven't got any games up-running yet, but the terminal were writening the same when I tried the doom3-demo.
what to do?
I have a Nvidia GEforce 6200, so I shouldn't have any problems should I?
thanks for the help, if help comes! (as I will ;) )

Out of curiosity, why are you trying to install the Windows version of Doom3 when you could be using the Linux version? You should be able to find information on it on the Id Software website.

yeah maybe, but it a general problem for me, so I was wondering if something was needed to be installed for my Nvidia card?

You need to have the Nvidia drivers installed. That's why it's throwing all those pipe errors.

Hello

If you have not found them yet, this is the easies way to install them in my opinion, also gives you the nvidia control panel.
