Does anybody know where I can find a nice calm ubuntu screensaver. Just something that has floating text saying "Ubuntu" with the logo or something similar. I've never been a big fan of flying toasters or zipping colored lines and so forth and in comparison I find the ubuntu color scheme quite relaxing. I would have thought this would be easy to find, or for that matter it would come installed by default but I haven't had much luck finding anything.

One way to go would be to start the screensaver program from System / Preferences / Screensavers and select the advance tab where you can choose your own images (for example a ubuntu image).
Then you select a screensaver (for example SlideScreen) that modifies those images the way you want.
Hope it helps!

There are dozens of screensavers installed. Dig through system-->prefs-->screensaver until you find one you like.
