Hi I am still very new to ubuntu and linux so am having my fair share of problems.
I am trying to install the quake 3 demo from the file linuxq3ademo-1.11-6.x86.gz.sh
at first it would not do anything so I changed the permissions. Now all it will do is pop up a second terminal window and close it before I can read what it says.
Any help please

Yeah that is what I tried but no luck it just flashes that terminal up for .5 seconds.
Is there a way to stop that vanishing? Atleast then I could get the error messages
