hello

i am the author of iso master (http://littlesvr.ca/isomaster) (gpl-licenced)

it looks like it's finally getting stable enough for me to be able to honestly recommend using it for editing iso images.

so i'm wondering, what do i have to do to make it available on the official ubuntu package repositories? sorry i'm quite incompetent when it comes to package management, another guy is maintaining the .deb packages of iso master, so please treat me as a well-meaning newbie :)

basically i would like for people to be able to open up synaptic, search for 'iso' or something, and install it from there.

thanks in advance

thanks. once the next version is out (in a couple of weeks) i'll ask david (the debian package maintainer) if he's willing to put effort into all that process.

if not, i don't know, he's been making debian packages since the first version (what a great guy) and i'm not looking for a replacement.
