I have just upgraded to Edgy and re-installed ubuntucenter. Everything seems to be working correctly, except that I can't log into ubuntucenter w/ the username and password I thought I used when I set it up.

Dose anyone know how to reset the password?

I've tried using the following commands

/usr/share/ubuntucenter/clearuserpasswords.sh
then
/usr/share/ubuntucenter/adduser.sh

But it appears this no longer works. I don't know if this is because of a new version of ubuntucenter, because of Edgy, or because I installed the software incorrectly.

You can try removing /var/www/center/.htpasswd then goto ubuntu center in your browser, it should ask you to add a user. I don't know why the upgrade would have affected this at all.

Thanks Travis. It appears that the file .htpasswd doesn't exist on my system. I think I must have installed ubuntucenter incorrectly. I'm going to try to re-install it and see if that fixes it. Do I have to un-install ubuntucenter first? If so, how do I do that exactly?

I think just apt-get remove ubuntucenter and then reinstall it.
