alternative to spplet window list of gnome

Is there an alternative to window list of gnome?
I want remove the panel in bottom.

You could always go minimalistic and use the "Window Selector" and add it to your top bar. It's accessible by right clicking and choosing "Add to panel" and it's listed under the heading: Desktops & Windows.

This way you can just click one icon for a full dropdown list of open applications instead of the taskbar like interface that is defualt :)
