Just a little heads-up to those who are playing around with Breezy.

Evolution will not update. It wants to remove the previous Evolution version, but cannot upgrade due to an unsatisfied libcamel dependency (including one other.) I tried installing that libcamel package and the other one in the repos, but Synaptic still refused to install Evolution. It ended up removing my Evolution and leaving me to go back to the Hoary repos to get it back.

So, Evolution-updating seems to be broken in Breezy so far . . . .

Others have also reported this problem.

Otherwise, Breezy seems fairly usable.

Well, I had to remove a Breezy pcackage in order to reinstall Evolution from the Hoary repos. The Breezy Evolution packages seem to be incomplete, at the very least.

I'm sure it'll be fixed soon since it is a critical app. It's basically the ONLY integrated PIM client for GNOME. Mozilla Thunderbird is available, but it has no real calendar
feature, and is lacking a few other things. Plus, it isn't GNOME-based.

Well, we have from now until around October to see it happen.

Perhaps it's too soon for users to be delving into Breezy unless it's for bug-reporting . . . . maybe it'll be a little more reliable in, say, mid-June or early-July.

Still, that broken Evolution package in Breezy really irritates me, lol. It is such an important app.

Still, I shouldn't complain, Ubuntu still kicks ***. Plus, I just went back to the Hoary repos and reinstalled Evolution.
