[Feature Request] Limit upload speed per torrent

Hi,

I want to post a feature request for future versions of deluge.

I'm speaking of the possibility to set maximal upload speed per torrent.

I don't know if there are others with the same problem, but when I'm seeding a torrent it happens that one torrent takes my whole upload bandwidth. So I almost can't download torrents at the same time, because there's no upload bandwidth left.

When I stop seeding that torrent, my download speed goes up. But that is not a solution for me. I am not selfish and want to help seeding, so that others can download that file faster, too.

So what do you think? Is there a chance to see that in future versions?

By the way, I want to thank you for writing such a great torrent client for Linux. I also find it amazing how fast its development is going on.

I think it should be somekind of priority system e.g downloads have bigger priorities than uploads.

The problem is that libtorrent offers no functionality for this (AFAIK), so we couldn't implement the feature if we wanted to.

libtorrent has this function, and has for sometime. It even has a per peer setting :)

hi there i love the client that u made i m waiting now for that libtorrent support encryption =D, i will like to make a request something similar about seeding i dunno i saw it on azureus if u can put like a way downloading torrent # and seeding # like a example i m downloading 1 file and i have queue 3 so when that file finished i will like to keep seeding that file and keep downloading just one file on my queue , i mean that way i m not just interested on downloading 2 files at the same time i just wanna put one for downloading and one for seeding. i hope u understand me sorry for my english :D. I also look forward for this feature.
Since I'm using Anti-Leech-Tracker and some of them have strict overseeder rules (like you're not allowed to upload more then 3x the file(s) to give the others the chance to keep their ratio) I almost got banned, because of my high upstream I could not limit, so I uploaded more then 3x the size before my download was finished and the criteria "stop after 3x" could hold.
