Hi everybody.
This is my first post in this area onf the forum; I've been using sowrdbible in ubuntu 6.06, but only now I've seen that there is an "ubuntu Christian edition". So I was wondering if there is the possibility to download a live cd. I've searched, but I don't understand that much.
Thanks

Ubuntu christian is not an official part of ubuntu!

If you are already running Ubuntu 6.06 you can just use the convert-me (http://www.whatwouldjesusdownload.com/christianubuntu/2006/07/convert-to-latest-version-of-ubuntu.html) script, as long as you have a working internet connection.

Thanks for your replies.
At the moment i prefer to try the live cd because I've seen that every time I upgraded, I went into hard times.
I'm a really super-total beginner.
Thanks again:KS

Yes, trying the live cd is nice to test things out before you try them. When you say you had trouble with upgrades, I assume you mean going from Dapper to Edgy for example. The convert_me script does not do an upgrade like that. It is simply a script that installs the Ubuntu CE apps from the Ubuntu repos and makes a few tweaks to your system to "convert" it to Ubuntu CE. I just wanted to let you know that it is not the same as upgrading to a new release of Ubuntu.
