Very interesting. I I haven't tried this myself, but would be totally disappointed if they removed the LAMP option.

There is no LAMP option when you boot, instead it has been moved and is an option that you choose during the installation. You can choose either a DNS server or LAMP server!

I had the same question about installing the LAMP server. I downloaded the Ubuntu server package, 6.06 LTS for PowerPC but cant find the "LAMP server install option" referred to above. I guess I'm having a moment of ignorance and need somebody to spell it out for me! I booted from the CD, started "live mode" and selected the "install" program. The setup screens that followed were no different than the later version of Ubuntu. Did I get the wrong version? or am I missing something? Do I need to install from the command line with a specific option? Pls help, very new to Linux but want to learn! I have looked for more clarification on this subject but have had no luck!
Thanks in advance!

Yes, there is LAMP and DNS options you could choose either one or both, during your install of server 6.10.

hey
The Server CD doesn't come with a desktop, alas, you can't boot into a Live-desktop. So you just accidentially downloaded the desktop cd instead of the server cd...
