Hi everybody,
We're about to deploy a mission critical php5/mysql5 web app at a client.
They plan on ordering the following server:
IBM System x3550
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/x/rack/x3550/index.html
The operating system:
Ubuntu Dapper (most likely the desktop version)
In case they order the server with 2 dual-core Intel Xeon processors, may I assume the Ubuntu Dapper kernel supports that?
They plan on using a Raid5 configuration. Any problems there?
I would highly appreciate any feedback from someone about the compatibility of Ubuntu Dapper with this server.
