Do you know where to get those sweet "Gnome Foot", "Firefox", "Thunderbird" and "Beep" icons?
What do you think of the desktop (isnt mine) ?

Nothing's wrong with the link, that server just has direct image links disabled. The referrer must show up as the same domain. Go here: http://ic1.deviantart.com/, then paste the link from above in the same tab.

I found the screenshot at http://lokheed.deviantart.com/
The desktop doesn't look very impressive other than being a nice color scheme and very clean. He didn't do a lot of customization.
I also think you can find better icons by installing Gnome themse like Nuvola and going through its library of SVG (scalable) icons.

Umm, it' not really suppose to be a mixture with Gentoo's desktop and a gnome theme.
But if he/she likes it, whatever floats their boat
On another note, why not just download/install Ubuntu Hoary 5.04 instead of changing everything to Ubuntu/Gnome? it's not ubuntu repo's or packages so really they're or if it IS yours, then you're just tricking yourself ;)
