Autopackage

I recently discovered this new system for installing, managing,
and removing "packets":

I don't know if you already know it, but anyway, I'd like to know what
you think about it.

Did anyway try it with Ubuntu?
And... what about thinking to use it as the standard install tool for Linux...?

Not to be snippy about it, but all of your questions have already been discussed, several times, in the forums. A search for autopackage will give you the threads. I'm pointing this out because there have been good points made both for and against autopackage, and they are worth a read.

yes, the idea of autopackage is quite inviting, but as said by Leif, it has been discussed before. Any comments you want to add, I'd suggest using the first thread that I pasted, as it's the most recent.
