Having the same problem. Running from a terminal doesn't show you any errors, and it leaves Python processes running afterwards that you have to kill manually. It does indeed meet the dependency requirements, so I'm not sure what's wrong. I was able to run it fine in the past on other distributions, and I have nvidia drivers installed. Haven't tried it before they were installed, but I haven't had any other really graphical games hang like this.

Just did a: sudo apt-get install solarwolf
Then ran solarwolf and it worked perfectly.

Neither of you are doing anything silly like launching it while beryl or compiz are running are you? :)

I can't get it working either and also ran into all kinds of problems when trying to uninstall it . I ran across a couple a posts giving fixes but none seemed to work.

Nope. Other Python games run OK too, it's just Solarwolf. I didn't have any problems uninstalling it either. I wonder if this is a problem with Solarwolf itself, no clue, and I don't know how to troubleshoot unless there's a nice visual compiler that'd show me what line of code it's hanging on ^^ I'm pretty newb at this stuff.
