Hi,

I'm a newcomer to the Ubuntu community and I want to show my affiliation to it. I think we should have the 'pride' banners that other widespread applications, like Firefox, so that we can all show how much we love Ubuntu and what it stands for in our blogs, websites, emails etc. Not only would it give us a sense of affiliation, but it would actually spread the good name of Ubuntu to the non-Linux communities, and maybe convert a few.

Just and idea... ;)

Not sure if it's what you're looking for but buttons were created here: http://http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=155472

As far as banners I think there may be some on the main site.

/me goes and looks.

Well i can't find them now but I remember seeing something awhile back.

But if ya can't find em like me, you could always make your own with the official art:

I might just go and do that, acutally. Anyways, I was thinking maybe someone should start a "Get Ubuntu" campaign, much like the "Get Firefox" campaign Mozilla did. It sure got a whole load of users to it. That's what inspired this thread...
