I did a GUI upgrade this afternoon - before I read that there was a bug. But in fact, everything went just fine, it took about two or three hours I think and I was surfing, playing Heroes 3 and watching The Simpsons during the process. Honestly, that was risky and probably not recommandable but liked it. I admit the last five minutes were a bit weird because apps had temporarily neither right fonts nor correct theme settings but that was okay.
By the way: if you are missing your trash on the desktop, just create a launcher:

I've been using Xubuntu for a little over a week and I LOVE it, Good Job Xubuntu team :mrgreen:
