From debtor to creditor?

I'm still very much a n00b, but I've found myself giving Linux help to my friends...even some guys who are more technically-proficient than I am, all around.

It's a strange feeling to be able to help someone, instead of just hanging around and *being* helped.

So my question is: how long was it before you started *answering* Linux questions?

To my friends? heh, rarely ever. I was the only one of my friends to use Linux for a LOOONG time.

To forum-goers? About a week after I started using Ubuntu-- somehow the Debian way of doing things makes more sense to me than anything else.

Congrats though, that IS a great feeling isn't it?
