Is there a way to change the kernel and update the packages that are on the cds? or custom wallpapers, themes, icons, etc??

i dont wish to customise the live cd. i want to customise the xubuntu/xubuntu alternate cds.. or the ubuntu alternate.

Hi,

The wiki explains customizing installer behavior or adding extra packages but how to customize desktop theme, wallpaper, icons, etc? Iam trying to remaster Ubuntu-Server Live CD. Thanks!
