For many of the HP PSC models, just use the Printing Menu. (System > Administration > Printing)

It worked just fine for me with my PSC 1610. Certainly if you have problems, then check out the link. Of course too, I believe it is more up-to-date than the HPLIP used in Ubuntu Dapper. Not sure what is being used in Ubuntu Edgy Eft.
