Has anyone tried this game, is a fork of Falcon's Eye? Looks pretty cool!

Whats the difference between this and Falcon's Eye (http://users.tkk.fi/~jtpelto2/nethack.html), Which I believe is in the repositiories?

The fact that Falcon's Eye is dead and the maintainer won't let it go.

Does this work on ubuntu? I tried to help getting vulture working on my g/f's computer (her name is Pet on this forum) but its borked to hell. :(

if anyones got this (vulture or noegnud) could they post instructions or something?

I got noegnud working, and wrote a howto here: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=111272&highlight=noegnud
