Are you going to support the ppc platform as well? Would be really nice!

We plan on it, but just as we're supporting the 64bit platform, that means we need testers to commit to working with us to build the library.
I actually own a G4 Mac Mini, so I can do some testing, but don't want to mess up my OS X installation. If you can point me in the direction of some sort of tutorial for installing Ubuntu onto an external USB hard drive, that would rapidly speed up the process.
Our plan is to support the 3 main architectures: i386, x86_64, and ppc

I don't know how to do the usb thingie, but I don't mind to do some testing... WHat do I need to do ( Sorry if this seems a stupid question, but only looked at the screens and looked nice and saw there was no ppc version...:-)

you're going to have to build the python-libtorrent library yourself, as it's written in C++. Look at the new version thread in here for python-libtorrent, and find the link to build it from SVN.
the client itself is written in python, and as such should be cross-platform

I tried to compile it, but their are some errors in the C++ library that are (I assume) PPC specific errors. The library may have to be rewritten for PPC which means that some one who has a PPC machine (Linus any one?) should rewrite the C++ library, but I don't know C++.

You should look at this topic http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=271334
if you get the same things that I did, you just need to install the dependancies like I did. Give it a try

Please tell us what the errors are, copy&paste them. Perhaps it is something easy to fix.
