Ok, this is a strange one for me. Previously I had no problems getting Cedega to work with Steam on my Athlon XP 2500+. I used a Geforce 2 GTS and a 9700 pro and both worked fine (albeit slow). But now with my Athlon 64 3200+ and Geforce 6600gt PCI-Express on Ubuntu's Hoary stable release, I get this:

No text in the menus! (http://home.earthlink.net/~dgagne/images/Screenshot.png)

Needless to say, this makes it fairly unusable. I'm using the latest linux release of the IA32 drivers from Nvidia (7174). I've also tried using Cedega versions 4.2.1 and 4.3 with the same effect.

From Transgaming's game database (http://digital-conquest.ath.cx/wiki/index.php/Half_Life_2), you need to install their Mozilla ActiveX control in order to have html content in steam (which is why you have no text, etc.) Instructions on how to use it are here (http://digital-conquest.ath.cx/wiki/index.php/Cedega-4.2#New_Mozilla_Control). If you are using Point2Play, I think it is set up automatically after installing the control.

The Mozilla ActiveX control can be found in Transgaming's download area.
